I know fans get into fights everywhere but from what I’ve seen it happens a lot in Philly. I don’t know if it seems that way because it gets reported more or what. I do know that I’ve seen hockey, baseball, and football in Philly and the fans are noticeably meaner than most places. Just my thoughts, although it looks like many other people share them.

@1943mrmojorisin1971 – That’s completely naive. Search fan fights on youtube and you’ll be able to find any team’s fans fighting. It doesn’t just happen in Philly, and to be honest, I doubt it happens with more regularity in Philly. There’s a guy who went to opening game last year at Dodgers stadium who’s still in the ICU because he happened to be wearing the wrong colors. As it’s basest level, it’s gang warfare, and I don’t think we should point the finger at the fans – rather we should throw the book at the goofballs pictured above.

This doucher seriously loves around the corner from me ….I don’t think this is right by any means AT ALL…I’m just saying if I was at a flyers rangers game after a winter classic or any huge game in NY…I probably wouldn’t wear my jersey around…especially at the spot where stuff like this is most likely to happen…just saying….again I’m glad this guy is caught and he deserves what he gets

People dont blame a city, in this case philly, because a city is just buildings and streets and land and can therefore not beat up a person over something as stupid as rooting for someone else.

People blame the people of philly, because incidents often happen involving them and the fans of the teams who call philly home.

In this case, yeah, the moron is a philly fan. So once again, people are blaming fans of philly.

man oh man does Philly have a bad rep, and it’s 1 out of 47,000 people that attended the game that ruin it all for Philly, well put it this way when Philly lost in game 6 of the 2010 cup finals did we burn our city down? How about beating up fans in the parking lot like in LA? How about getting into fights with our own players?
