Yes, they’ve gotten knocked out in the first round by a very good Detroit Red Wings team each time. That was all happening while the Stars were out on the golf course because their offseason started early. Surely even you would choose “boring” hockey if it got you to the playoffs

No dougyfresh….I’m not bitter AT ALL Tippett isn’t in Dallas. Always disliked him and his BORING style of play, plus he is incapable of guiding a team completely through the postseason. With him, the Coyotes have gotten WIPED OUT in the playoffs under him, have they not? Have a good one.

Doan’s elbow definitely warrants a suspension. Benn is a beast and is now the face of the Stars franchise.

Certainly looked like the Coyotes were headhunting under directive from their crappy coach Dave Tippett. Inferior teams have to resort to playing a cheap game, I guess. Benn proves over and over how tough he is and deserves the contract he’ll be getting as he assumes the captaincy from Morrow and leads the Stars into their next phase. With the talent they have waiting in the wings, should be an NHL powerhouse for a long time to come. Hopefully Doan gets a lengthy suspension.
