I’am Bruins fan but what’s the fun of beating a dead horse. Think about the fact that they are in absolute ruin to the point they have to rebuild should make any Bruin’s fan happy. Happy B’ day #4 Simply the best.

I’m not a Habs fan, but foolishness should be answered. Since the start of the expansion era in 1968, when the NHL went to 12 teams and kept on growing, what team has won the most Stanley Cups? Oh yeah, that would be Montreal with 10. TEN. None lately of course, for many reasons, but still, 10 since expansion. Now go do your homework.

That may be true if you are from Montreal. The Habs are no more important to hockey than any other team (except southern teams, who are all irrelivant). The habs have been terrible for decades, and hockey has gotten along just fine

But you should go beat your chest about Cups won in a 8 team league, because that is just amazing to be able to win with a whole 7 other teams to compete against!! My little league had more teams

Pfft. Doesnt bother me a bit. They won a bunch of cups back when they had to beat 5 other teams.

Interesting–I didn’t know that a team could buy out a player by assuming a cap hit over DOUBLE the remaining years of the contract.

Are there any other teams who would benefit from buying out a massive contract?

Some people are clamouring for Vancouver to buy-out or trade Roberto Luongo and make Cory Schneider the starter.
