He was ejected from the game and put his team on the PK for 5 min. Its not like he wasn’t punished for that play.

It was definitely a charge, but the head wasn’t targeted and was not the initial point of contact. That said, Shanny gotten a LOT wrong this year to the point where you don’t know what the standard is.

Well at least the game officials had some balls.
Leaving the feet prior to contact, targeting the head. Thats two guys this clown has injured.

the league is so inconsistent with penalties and suspensions on hits it is ridiculous. Another player could have made the same hit and gotten 4 games.

There have been suspensions dished out for players leaping already, and not as high as Bogosian. Besides him leaving his feet the hit was clean just not very consistent. Maybe the league realizes they were giving too many suspensions and now they are tapering it back.

It seems like Winnipeg has a lot a dirt on Shanahan. The past two games now in Winnipeg there have been two hits on players, that should have been at least a two game suspension. The one Marcus Johansson from Stuart, clearly a malicious hit, and nothing but a 2,500 fine that’s BS! And now this, hit on Nodl, when Bogosian also as clear as day, leaves his feet to make contact and even worse theirs nothing, not even a fine..Again BS!

Shanahan needs to pull his head out of his ass and make the same calls every time. I agree with what govtminion asked above. I thought that, was their goal this year and but i guess I’m wrong. Pretty sad.

Kidding aside, how is this NOT suspension-worthy? Isn’t this EXACTLY what the league has been trying to crack down on?
