Video: Dion Phaneuf’s goal breaks the net cam

Mar 17, 2012, 11:44 PM EDT

With Toronto already up 2-0 in the third period and the team on the power play, Phaneuf fired a one-timer past Senators’ goaltender Ben Bishop and straight into the camera.

Apparently it costs $1,200 to fix that camera, making that a pretty expensive goal. Of course, Phaneuf is making $6.5 million this season, so if he wanted to chip in towards the repairs, he could probably scrounge up the money.

Despite the fact that this “suck-hole” Phaneuf probably means well and all, right now people “want and need” to know that our “beloved” LA Kings have just crushed the Nashville Predators by a handsome margin of 4-2 ! Yes siree, you heard it first from comrade Blomfeld ! At any rate, the highly talented Sedin brothers also won just now here in Vancouver, but that doesn’t really concern us in the slightest. We LA Kings are now on the march, no two ways about it ! So if you therefore haven’t done so already, then go right now and grab yourself a girl and join us on the floor ! … this is going to be “one heck” of a dance ! :)

9 thumbs down on getting lucky??? Think of Blomfeld as Elvis and yourselves and one of the background singers..Than everyone has a good time.
