Caps have been shorthanded 243 times, on the power play 216 times…for a -27 differential. I think that’s 3rd biggest difference in the league.

If Ovechkin had put that same hit on any player in the league, no doubt he would have been given a 20-game suspension.

I’m so happy someone else saw that. If the roll had been reversed the goal would of been overturned and the caps would of been penalized. I can not believe that the officiating has been so bad this year. Its all across the league, its pathetic how biased the officials have been, I’ve heard through several people that the refs are handed a sheet with listings of players in the game, and violations of the rules they have been called for, so that they know what too look for and anytime anything slightly along the line of this happens their hands go up.

Even with the loss I was happy with the Caps play. They kept it going through the bad ref-ing. More hitting in the game would also be a good help to the caps along with OVI playing correct Def.

Bizarre, just like the reffing in general in that game. Caps were interfered with gratuitously all game. On the winning goal, a jet appeared to be holding the stick blatantly of a caps dman while the other jet put the puck in. ABSURD!!!!! Someone check for unusual wagering on that game, please.

Even as a Jets fan, Stuart should have gotten more. I love the guy but he walks a veeeeery fine line sometimes.

no doubt deserves a suspension. shanahan is making what is and isnt a suspension very confusing for the players
