Seeing a lot of comments about the potential matchup problems for other teams. Bylsma is doing a great job in this regard. Think about it:

1) The top two lines have been on a tear this entire streak and shouldn’t be ripped apart. That’s how you “fix something that isn’t broken”

2) Everyone remembers the offensive tear Sid was on before the concussions. What they don’t remember is how drastically better he was in the defensive zone. Remember, he even started killing penalties.

These two facts combined with the line combos in practice are great for the TEAM. Top line is clearly the goal scoring line. Second and Third lines can grind, shutdown, and still put up huge points. No other team in the NHL can matchup against two lines, let alone three. This is also great for keeping Crosby’s minutes down while he adjusts to playoff-type hockey, especially with the penalty situation the way it is in the NHL.

This is why Bylsma is (and could be again this year) the Jack Adam’s winner.
