Even though it wasn’t mentioned, the previous holder of that record was Peter Stastny. He set it in 1980-81 when the team was still in Quebec. The record stood for 31 years.

Matt Read does not get enough love! He is a great 2 way player, leads all rookies in goals, works his heart out every game. Not saying he should win..but at least top 3
