Yea thats why hes planning on coming back thursday. Did you say the same about lemieux when he had his 2 back surgies or when he had hodgkins. Or did you say the same when miller had his concussion. Apparantly your still dealing with your concusion.

Malkin really is starting to look scary, even to Pens fans! He’s done a complete turnaround in the faceoff circle. He’s 8 of 11 in the Shootout this year, when coming into the season, he was around 25% in his career. He’s become much better in the defensive zone (still not the level of Crosby or Staal, however). And, this year, the Pens are Malkin’s team.

Don’t be surprised if Malkin-Kunitz-Neal are the Pens first line when Sid comes back. That would leave Crosby centering the second line with Dupuis and Staal. Those are two scoring lines that no one in the NHL can match up against right now in the playoffs!

All I’m saying is, he could’ve prevented that hit. Yes, they’re cracking down on blatant headshots. But this was as much as a headshot because the way his head hit the glass… But. Like I said, I like Malkin, but if Matt Cooke did this, we’d be talking a five game suspension…. Again. I like Malkin. Look at my name, you would never expect to hear me praise Pittsburgh. But you just can’t deny how special he is. I wish a certain someone in Washington had the work ethic that Geno Malkin posesses…. Oh well. For the sake of the game, the NHL needs Ovechkin to turn it around

That’s why its a boarding penalty. I think suspensions will only come from blatant headshots where the head is targeted. That’s my understanding at least from shanahans track record this season.

its the same as the letang nystrom hit. If boychuck doesn’t dip his head there’s no contact to the head and at worst its a minor boarding. Nothing will come from this and rightfully so. Didn’t leave his feet. Didn’t lead with a elbow. Didn’t target the head.
