Every time he goes into the corner to retrieve a puck I can’t help but cringe. Every time he blocks a shot and takes an extra second to get back up I get real worried. The guy is strong and resilient to come back from all those injuries, but I consider him brittle for being so injury prone.

As we have all been told repeatedly that each player, or concussion, is different and time lines vary. Just because you happen to hit a ‘brittle player’ – see Salo – doesn’t mean your hit was more or less brutal than hitting a player who is more resilient, or younger (less wear and tear).

Should have been 1 game. This is a real blow to the Caps at a critical time. Saying Green hasnt done anything is ridiculous. Wideman is their next best puck mover (and the gap is huge) and he has done nothing lately except screw up.

People take for granted Greens skill with the puck…mark it down, he will be resigned haters.

I also thought he was *not* a repeat offender since the last (and only) incident was 2 seasons ago?
