Their shiny new rentals actually take up like five mil against the cap. If they don’t resign them (and I wouldn’t sign Kostitsyn again, myself), that’d give them something to work with. End of the day, they’re gonna have to pay in if they want to keep those guys. There’s no other way about it – they’ve gotta pay up or accept mediocrity and underachievement and their best players walking away forever.

Sounds nice on paper but where will Smashville get the money? Rads was sick to watch and I hope he comes back to the NHL but can the Preds afford the trio?

Get back Radulov, that convinces Suter to stay, which then convinces Weber to stay. Put it all together, build glorious roster going forward. Pick up another scoring forward or two in the offseason, go for the Cup next year. =D
