Pretty hard to call Halak the mvp when there’s also Elliot who has better stats and has pretty much split the games with Halak this season.

nbc sports is a joke there isnt one thing on the blues on the main page, no videos nothing for the #####1 team in the league .we’re lucky they put a couple things up this morning. and o ya one more thing where is halak on the mvp pole hes one of the best if not the best goalie in the league!

toews,backstrom,and giroux are all centers who probably wouldnt want 3rd line billing behind crosby and malkin(who knew crosby would be out this long). kessel is a great scorer but pretty soft, and awful in his own end. staal was prob the best choice for the pens at the time

I’d say Pietrangelo is the closer of the two. Had a solid year in 10-11 and will completely eclipse it this year. Shattenkirk needs to show he can put up these numbers consistently first. That being said I haven’t watched either enough to determine their actual defense competency.

ya obviously we should have gone w/ any of those players but he made up for it for by trading to get one of the best young defense-man in the league. Not to mention firing Davis Payne and hiring the coach who is going to end up winning the Jack Adams award. So I’d say he’s not a horrible GM at all. GO BLUES!
