I think there should have been a penalty called and there should be a suspension for that. While not the worst hit in terms of violence or outcome, it was clearly a targetted elbow to the head.

There has to be a suspension for that hit. Extremely surprised there was no penalty called. Between all the injuries and now this mike green cant catch a break, although this incident is all his doing.

Another rule that should be added is ‘roughing’ for hitting a player who is already engaged in a check.

Clearly saw him the whole way, rose UP to target the head and crunched his head into the boards.
