With Garon out, it looks like Yzerman will be forced to recall Tokarski from the Admirals, who are in the playoffs and in need of their goaltender. haha But that is the purpose of the AHL team anyway, hopefully he’s ready for the big leagues.

Surprised Tampa didn’t capitalize, but I guess Yzerman’s not really concerned with how they do this year. His plan appears to be built for the next couple anyway.

Very good news- I was starting to worry that the backup might have to be called out of the stands for games. Remember that their starter for Providence (AHL) is injured as well, so the B’s suddenly were pretty rough looking in net.

Here’s hoping Turco plays well- and that Rask is ready by the time the big show starts.
