I always hated the Hunters (all of them) for how they played and that hit on Turgeon many years ago corroborated my opinion about Dale.

Without looking back I think the Capitals did start the season on fire. 7 wins to start the season off. So “choking” could fit if I’m right. This team is to good to miss the playoffs.

All I can say is that I still remember what Hunter did at the Coliseum in 1993. He should have been arrested for what he did to Pierre Turgeon. Anything bad that has ever happened to him since–including this year–is well deserved hockey karma. If he were a man, he’d go to Turgeon, look him in the eye, and apologize. Don’t think he’s done that.

i guess your right but i figure a team with one of the supposedly top 3 players in the league could make a run when the bottom teams in the conference are all fighting for the final playoff spot. i.e choking

but you are right, this team has been garbage for a long time and will continue that way until they fire george mcphee and maybe even hunter. leonsis needs to act now to save oveckins relationship with the capitals or its going to get ugly when he asks out.

choking…? they haven’t been good all year…choking implies that they were good at one point this season…they are just below average this year

i knew the capitals were a bunch of phussies on the ice but i didn’t know they were also sensitive phussies…im sure with all the daggers hunter has thrown in his day this means very little to him, if anything at all. make the playoffs and people won’t bring this crap to the rink to remind you of how bad your choking.
