Yah Bylsma was under Babcock’s wing during his playing days and Babcock is an innovator as well as a gold medalist and cup champ recently, he’s definitely not ’2nd’ tier. Ken Hitchcock turned a scrubby Blues roster into one of the stiffest teams in the game too, lotta good coaches

dans the best coach in the league. I don’t even consider anyone else in his class. There are alot of great coaches in the 2nd tier but no doubt he gets this job.

Bylsma picked up a lot of what he knows from working with Mike Babcock, and that seemed to work for us in Vancouver. Best guy for the job.
