Let 68 rest for the remainder of the regular season. There’s no denying he’s banged up, and with the amount of injuries the Flyers have suffered this season, he needs to be healthy for the playoffs.

While it does neglect to mention the circumstances directly responsible for the injury, it would also be fair for The Flyers to be concerned given Jagr’s history with lower body injuries, including his hip. It may have been just a random moment that causes it, but the long term ramifications & Jagr’s ability to recover at 40 is a legit concern.

Alright O’Brien. Let’s not twist this to make it seem that Jags health issues was the reason he got hurt. He had his knee/leg whipped around. It put Jags in an awkard situation and they showed the replay on during CSN Philly’s broadcast. It had nothing to do with him ‘being old’ or ‘fragile.’
