I don’t think I’d go so far as to say “hostility” played any real part of Fidler’s impression. Both players (and benches) seemed to get a good-natured, humourous chuckle out of the whole thing. And Bieska’s comments about it were also some more ribbing along those lines. Yeah, the bit about chirping about the calf laceration – that might be a bit different, but this latest mummery wasn’t anything much other than wise-cracks.

Hostility – that might apply to more to Bieska’s and Ben Eager’s interactions. Maybe after the Stars and Nucks finish playing one another a few more times over the rest of the season, something will develop but let’s not try and build the whole Fidler/Bieska thing to be something it’s not. Funny, yes; that’s about it.
