I agree. Sabres have been a disappointment. Time to retool the team. Even if they get into the dance, it would be another one and done. But then any of the teams fighting for the last position are not going to challenge to be drinking from Lord Stanley’s Cup.

With their lack of scoring they aren’t going to go anywhere in the playoffs.
That said, I really hope they don’t make them so there isn’t any reason at all to keep Regier and/or Ruff. If they show life in the playoffs the temptation will be too great to keep those guys and we will be in for another mediocre season next year.

Only a 14% chance? Seems incredibly low for a team that is only 2 points back. I know there are a lot of teams in the mix vying for one spot but Ottawa’s spot at #7 isnt safe either

still can’t believe they’re in this position. I had the Sabres pegged to be the beasts of the East this season after the moves they made in the offseason.

as far as i’m concerned, they have to make the playoffs just to save face.
