I dont think the zone entry is the problem - the nucks are actually good at getting set up.

heres my breakdown of the PP issues.

Henrik is dangerous from behind the net, with Danny and Kes cruising in circles. So the defenders let the nucks to set up with Henrik on the right boards. They basically give the right boards to Henrik. Kes goes in front, and Danny takes his usual spot on the left boards.

but:
Henrik (shoots left) doesnt shoot very much. He wants to set up from there.
Danny (shoots left also) is now on his off-wing, so can't one time the puck. its gotta be tap-ins.
So that leaves the 2 dmen as the only effective shooters. if the defenders aggresively cover the 2 points, they will effectively eliminate all of Vancouver's one-time slapshot options. it leaves hank on the right boards with 3 inferior options:
try and dish the puck through the slot for danny to tap it in
try a short feed into kes in the slot
shoot

some fixes:
try and get henrik to run the PP from the left boards (on his backhand).
take danny off, put burrows in front, and let kes sit in the hole in the left (he shoots right). yeah take danny off... that doesnt make sense to me either.
tell salo to get into the hole on the left, and let danny play at the back. that opens up 3 shooters. danny on the point... it worked against detroit.

thoughts?
