Dan…the fact the Matt stajan was allowed to skate in as close as he wanted to even take that shot is what worries me….the goal was weak but shots like that are coming far to often for the opponent…this team will gel in the next few weeks and be a force in the playoffs

Yeah…he made some very good saves over the last few games but has also allowed some very soft goals. This is just a coach trying to give his netminder, who still lacks confidence, a lift. He better hope his statement is true as his job depends on it

I’ll believe it when Matt Stajan doesn’t just walk in and score an abysmally weak, unscreened goal with Bryzgalov barely even moving to stop it. He’s still letting in the same weak, shoddy goals as ever. That he’s been SLIGHTLY better is good, but he’s still letting in goals both weak and numerous.

Playoffs will be the real test. That’s when defenses tighten up and save percentage really matter. Its as bryz would say, a whole new universe!
