Emery, Hossa beat their old Ottawa buddies

Mar 2, 2012, 11:11 PM EDT

Robin Lehner stopped 37 out of 39 shots to show that Craig Anderson isn’t the only goalie who figures to be a part of the Ottawa Senators’ future, but a netminder from the past was a big difference-maker. Ray Emery got a measure of a revenge against his old team (25 out of 26 saves) while ex-Senators forward Marian Hossa scored the deciding goal in the Chicago Blackhawks’ 2-1 win.

Chicago badly outplayed Ottawa. The best player was Robin Lehner. It should have been about 6-2 Chicago.

Yeah. Seemed like a classic letdown game after beating their new biggest rivals the other night.
Plus, Emery can be great in streaks. Hopefully they get their act together in Florida. Lehner is holding down the fort more than nicely.

…and the Bhawks netminder merry-go-round continues. What’s with these guys???
