The Hurricanes have been written off, but they are 10-3-6 (26-points) in the last 19 games. There is still time left in the season and they are now only 8-points out of the eighth spot in the east.

Wow. I knew Phoenix was winning games, but I had no idea they were doing THAT well until you see it summed up like this. I guess it’s safe to say this is a team that no one wants to get paired up with in April. Who knew Mike Smith had this in him?

Actually, it’s more like … “Canucks prove their the NHL’s coldest team !”

What Gilles did yesterday in trading away Cody Hodgson, was probably the equivalent of one taking a “good” dose of cyanide … perhaps even “not unlike” Hitler during those final hours in the “Fuhrer Bunker” back in ’45 ? … it doesn’t matter regardless, for if the task of eliminating the Canucks from the playoffs falls upon us LA Kings, then we’ll be only too glad to oblige … that you can count on !
