kes still gets the pp time with the sedins, but hes better off centering a checking line that scores on the counter attack. give him fast wingers that can check as well.

meanwhile, hodgson and booth, who arent the best checkers, get the role as secondary scoring. call that the third line if you will.

I know he’s having an off season, but I’d sooner drop Higgins to the third and put Booth back on his natural left to let Hodgson play wing to Kesler. Also, Lappy on his off-wing? I don’t see why you’d put him there instead of Pahlsson. Lapierre’s probably the better centre between the two, albeit not by a huge margin.

lapierre kesler hansen/burrows – big minute checking line – could be dubbed the hate line
malhotra pahlsson weisse/bitz

means raymond’s days are probably numbered. also, sorry to say it could mean malhotra sees limited games as well, if everyone is healthy

It never hurts to add depth in the centre position. Didn’t cost us anything significant either. Doesn’t address our need for a defenseman though which is far more important than another forward.
