The Jets really do need to stock up on prospects, as their cupboard’s pretty bare save for Scheif, Cormier, and Postma (maybe Klingberg too). Flood has been pretty outstanding. What a fleecing. Odouya LOVES turning the puck over. The Jets have a lot of depth at defence & this trade helps (not hurts) their playoff chances. They already had too many defencemen as Mark Flood was riding the pine. You will now have:
Byfuglien/Enstrom
Bogosian/Stuart
Flood/Hainsey
That leaves Randy Jones still & new waiver wire pickup Clitsome for depth
