It has nothing to do this season, but in summer. Gilbert played youth hockey with Zach Parise. Gilbert played college hockey with Ryan Suter. Coincidence the Wild will have interest in signing both??

You can’t be serious. I think you mean soft and lacks size, also doesn’t move the puck that well anymore… yes he stays at home but that really doesn’t warrant his salary any longer. Great clubhouse guy in Schultz but I don’t see why the Oil traded Gilbert away for Schultz. You can fill that role in the offseason for half the cost

Good trade for both teams if this is what Edmonton needs but I would give the edge to the Wild.
