While he’s not proven in the NHL as yet, I think he will become a solid goalie at this level. Some teams wouldn’t want to move a 2nd (especially what could be at least a mid-round pick or better) for an unknown. With Ottawa’s position having Auld as a stopgap, Lerner as the up and comer, and Anderson as the starter, they have some leeway for a player to not have to come in at a high level.

What a bargain! Congrats to B.Murray for a job very well done. I hope Bishop works out well for them in Anderson’s absence. Now I just hope the Caps can pull out a similarly large rabbit out of the hat.

Put him right in the fire against the Champs on Tuesday. After the Sens ran the B’s D with high hits& elbows I’m sure they would love to return the favor on the Sens new acquisition.

I am very interested on seeing how BB will impact the Sens’ in the short term. I was hoping the Flyers would be able to pick him up. 2nd round draft doesn’t seem like too high of price to pay. Well, thank God for NHL Center Ice.
