FinalTally the only thing I can say is that the NHL isn’t the NFL in the sense that the call on the field (ice in this case) really means all that much, I understand the frustration but the ref was only going with what him and the men upstairs felt was the most just ruling.

here’s the problem. the ref that waived the goal off ruled that the puck was kicked in and the puck didn’t touch the puck. the part that makes it controversial is that none of the replays showed the stick hitting the puck. they assumed it did, which is incorrect. there wasn’t any video evidence that showed stick the puck.

The angle that the puck took obvioulsy changes. Not sure how you can dispute that. They clearly got that call right.

Looks like the right call to me. Not THAT controversial, IMO.
