From a Rangers point of view this is a really bad idea, they’ve got a good thing going there. Lot of young talent, brilliant goalie, good depth, and great chemistry. From an NHL Marketing point of view, Nash in New York would be huge. He could become a star for the league, playing in that market with his skills. I wonder if Bettman is partially pushing this?

I was hoping Wolski would have hit waivers and the Isles took a flyer on him but good luck in Fl to a solid young player.

What a good move by Tallon adding a guy who can put up good numbers and adds depth, Florida will make a good playoff run. He didn’t get much of a chance in New York so if he gets more of a chance, he could possibly put pretty good numbers up.

Are the Rangers still carrying a cap hit for Redden? Sather loves free agent signings & trading so I would be shocked if Sather didn’t gve up a lot for Nash

At least the Rangers and Panthers are trying, which brings me back to the deer-in-headlights running the Chicago Blackhawks. Little Bowman is either confused by the “trade” part or the “deadline” part of the trade deadline. Sigh.

He played well in well in Colorodo but since he has left, he hasn’t been consistant in GPs and production. Maybe the Florida sun will give a boost.

Good for Wolski, perhaps he will actually get to play now. He certainly has the ability to be an effective top 6 forward. Unfortunately there just wasn’t a place for him with the Rangers.
