I’m curious, Joe. Where the hell do you come up with that? Nash has a pro since day one. Believe me, even though this is the worse Jackets team he has been on, he’s been on terrible Jackets teams before. All he ever did was hustle, work hard, and “complain” that he would love to win games in the post-sason for Columbus. Awfully uncomfortable? Aren’t YOU being awfully dramatic? The agent said his list of teams won’t change. That’s an agent doing an agent’s job. He’s trying to make sure the three stooges (McConnell, Priest, and Howson) don’t think they can force Rick to accept a trade to ANY team. He is saying Rick has a contract and he’s willing to bend to a degree, but don’t think you can fleece my client. Nash has NEVER been a disruptive force in the locker room. In fact, the biggest complaint is he’s too quiet. To act like Nash is going to throw a Carter-like tantrum is just poor journalism.

Honestly, who cares? It’s a foregone conclusion that Nash is going to get traded at some point. It’s not like he’s gonna change his mind and refuse to waive his NTC if you piss him off by waiting till the summer. Nor does waiting till summer diminish his value at all. There’s no reason not to hold out for the best possible deal if you’re Columbus.
