…it would be hard to tell, the way he’s been playing. Unless the camera looks right at him, I sure wouldn’t be able to tell. On the box score, he’s as visible as a stealth fighter.

if laich cap hit wasn’t so high 4.5 mill for the next 5 years I’d want him on my team. Great leader but Washington overpayed if you look at stats. Hope he turns this team around though because I want the Washington vs pittsburgh rivalry back.

Man, you’re running a few days behind Hunter and Hamrlik, Brooks. And for that matter, a few MONTHS behind the Ovi/Boudreau drama. Not that I disagree, but you’re a little late to the party. Everyone else in the organization is already blaming someone else for their failures.

1) Why exactly isn’t this guy wearing a ‘C’ on his chest instead of the rock star?

2) How is it that this team isn’t ‘frustrated’ already? You’ve lost 9 of 12, you have no scoring from your front two lines, your best player stopped caring about a year ago, your current coach has no idea what he’s doing, and your goaltending sucks on toast. If you’re not ‘frustrated’ already in that locker room, you either are just incredibly patient (Laich), or just don’t give a crap anymore (Ovechkin).
