I certainly can’t say whether Yzerman made a long term mistake trading away Downie, but I sure miss him! He’s a very good player, alot better player than alot of people think, he plays with tons of emotion, and is a real “team” guy. He’ll defend your rookies and veterans and isn’t afraid of anyone. That’s the one trade over the last couple weeks that hurts the most, I think.
