“the franchise” is the best sports team that ever existed. between lemieux, crosby, francis, ulfy, stevens, jagr, malkin, barrasso, fluery, letang, kovy, errey, coffey, endicott, hrdina, rechinball, wregget, staal, orpik, tochett, mullen, murphy, welsh, barnaby, lerioux, godard, larauque, craig t adams, park, whitney, straka, kaspiritus, engelland, CAUFIELD, nut bustin dustin jeffreys, cooke, neal, kunitz, scuderi, eaton, malone, roberts, borque, trottier, peck, shell, jennings, taglianetti, lang, theres no comparission that the greatness that spews out of this franchise is irresistable. come to the light side my friends.

Aside from this season, Ovechkin has been the far better player of the two. Malkin did in fact win the scoring title over Ovechkin in the 08-09 season by three points, but he also played three games more then Ovechkin did that season.

It should also be noted that the Pens have a far better organization, and a better team in general when compared to the Caps. If Malkin and Ovechkin were switched, who the hell knows how different their careers would have turned out. I will say this though, Ovechkin playing for the Pens with Crosby as his center, would have likely put up amazing numbers.

Thank God the pens lost that lottery and got Geno Pringles and not this wanna be rap star. Can you imagine where the franchise would be if we picked Ovi instead?

Ah the hell with it! Put he and Backstrom on LTIR and use their cap space and at least try to make the playoffs! It’s not like he has been productive on offense, and he just stands still on defense
