I’m not going to get ahead of myself and say we need a “goal scorer” we just need to dump bishop and get something. first off, the ownership won’t take o.lb any significant salary like a Jeff carter or Nash or whatever. secondly, your not going to get a whole lot for bishop straight up. I still want to see a bishop for stastny deal but that might be a long shot

I agree 100% Brockohol, there is no denying now that we HAVE to trade Biship for a goal scorer. I really don’t see what the hold up is anyway, we have Elliott locked down for two years and Halak for even more than that. We have to go out and get someone…

I don’t think they have a choice now as far as moving Bishop. even if its for a vet/rental guy, you can’t go the next month without a full line of top 6 guys. plus, mcdonald and Perron could have concussion problems again at the drop of a hat. hemsky, ruutuu, purcell, etc…I say get whatever you can for bishop because he won’t be in stl next year anyway

What is this “best of time” you are talking about? We have been down at least 1 top 6 forward all season. Usually down 2. It just keeps rotating about which one that is. Hopefully Steen and D’Ags get better before playoffs and Langs should be back by then too.
