Richards has so much talent, he just forgets to bring it with him to most games, maybe b/c he’s hungover alot? Carter only has a good wrist shot, his skating is average at best, and his stick handling is terrible, he can’t create for himself and needs others to set him up for scoring chances. The young talent we got for those guys will blow them away in the long run.

He is also younger, plays the same kind of style, and is a good character guy. Oh, and he’s half the price. That already seems like we got the better end of that deal, but we also got Brayden Schenn, who is looking pretty damn good. Why are we missing Richards?

As for Carter, how would we be better off with him? With him, he’d still be hurt, without him, we actually have players on the Ice. I love Jake Voracek’s game and he doesn’t have to shoot 12 shots a game like Carter. And Couturier is going to be a stud.

Penguins fans’ comments really show me that comedy is dead in Western Pennsylvania.

Carter is playing for the Jackets. Would you be in any kind of rush to get back from an injury to play for Columbus? I’d probably break my own fingers just to miss as much of the season as possible. It’s excoriating to watch. I would imagine it feels like a knee to the groin every shift you’re on the ice. Team is horrible and is being run by three of the dumbest mofos in sports, McConnell, Priest, and Howson. I’m surprised these guys don’t run into traffic in front of Nationwide Arena and take their chances with getting hit by the nearest car.
