The reason this trade hasn’t happened yet, is because Fletcher will not just give him away. Right now his trade value is at an all time low. If Fletcher can wait until summer when he might gain an ounce of trade value, that is when a deal will be struck.

Their defense has been surprisingly good considering they’re nearly all NHL newbies. I would look for some slightly older (mid-20″s) offensive players. However, a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick would sweeten any deal.
