Pittsburg is not even a real city, it’s just a large town haha. I still picture people walking around it in minors hats with dirt on thier faces.

How does it feel to know Sid the Kid will never play again, and all that time vested in his return is wasted. And soon “The Franchise” will be back to bankrupt and Mario won’t be able to help.

I liked Richards alot was sorry to see him go but you have to move on to make a change. The Flyers will not trade away this youth now, schen, courtier, read, ect. they truly are our future. As they grow and get older we will be able to build up the farm team and reload. I’m just happy sean coutier got so sick so he could fall so far in the draft for us.

Ever since lindbergh we have been cursed for our goaltenders.

thankfully not from pittsburgh. philadelphia born and raised on the playground where i spent most of my days.

the “missing piece” might just be too young. as good as lindros was, he was not forsberg concussions aside. build for the future. have faith the youth will develop. the flyers have exceeded expectations this season considering the number of rookies playing quality minutes. grossman/kubina should help sure up the D. cut down on the turnovers and pray the goalies stop being as soft as our pretzels. make a playoff run, see what happens, then build on it for next year.

plus developing youth worked for the phillies pretty nicely in 2008 with rollins, utley, howard, and hamels.

If the fly boys think they are going to fleece another down-and-out team, they had better think again.
Especially if a Buffalo or Montreal wants to put their high level first round pick into play. What happened in Atlanta post Zhitnik deal is well known.. Craig Patrick will make sure Scott Howson wins out on any deal with you guys.

What A Game, Filthys goaltenders are terrible!!! Soupcan Sid’s leftover foreskin could stop more shots than either of these jokes. And speaking of jokes, “outplayed the pens execpt for 5 soft? goals” is one of the dumbest statements ever made on this site. Obviously PSUJay didn’t finish his education at PSU. Maybe when he’s done testifing at Sanduskys case he can finish up that degree.

Obviously Goaltending is the key problem. However, you can not move Bryz, so if you cant stop goals you better be able to score a lot. Clearly Homer sees this thus justifying his interest in Nash.

2) Did you watch that game? The Flyers outplayed the Pens except for 5 soft goals. I wouldn’t be running my mouth too much as a Pens fan. It’s the first time you’ve beaten the Flyers in something other than a shootout since October 2010…and they’re undefeated in your building.
