No I don't think two towns that barely anyone outside of Minnesota has heard off is the best rivalry. Just because they have the highest NHL players per capita and thats the only stat??? More people used to come to my hometown rivalry games then are in these two towns combined. If your gonna say size doesn't matter then I guess that throws out their per capita stat Rivalries are about bad blood and you can't stand the other town for the simple fact their the other town.

BTW Im from New Hampshire and exeter academy sucks just about any prep school in MA and CT is better

Actually, with open enrollment, Warroad had a Little Falls kid a few years back when his Mom got a job at Marvin Windws; correct?

...Also, look out for single A Breck this year - they just tied Shattuck at Shattuck!

They should add Wyatt Smith to the list of Warroad NHL players. Also, if Aaron Ness is included with Roseau, they should include Brock Nelson for Warroad. I would say this is the best rivalry in high school hockey. It is certainly the most heated, and the most historic, when you consider the size of the communities and their proximity its quite incredible what they've done both in terms of the quality of the players but also the state titles.

The Prep School garbage? Who cares, its apples to oranges. The Prep school recruit talent from all over the country and internationally as well. Shattuck-St. Mary's is just as good as Exeter or any of the other school's listed but they're only loosely consider high school programs.

Warroad and Roseau can't really recruit from anywhere, since there is nothing nearby. These two schools are the perfect personification of Minnesota High School Hockey in my opinion.
