This article isnt inflamatory – its just the truth. and thats the way alex tells it. hes a diver and a biter, but no liar. thats why everyone knows what actually happened with auger. love him or hate him, burrows has been a heart and soul player since the minute he join the canucks (undrafted). there are very few players in this league that care about the logo on the front of their jersey as much as this kid. and ive followed hockey for 30 years in 3 different cities – including toronto. the sedins are the reason we score goals, luongo stops a lot of pucks – but its because of kesler and burrows that we win games. Im not always proud of burrows’ antics – (im talking about the diving – not the bite – the bite was all bergy) – but burrows is my favourite player – because he cares about my team as much as i do, and when we need a goal in the clutch he comes through.

If we’re cutting down on trashy comments then how about cutting down on trashy inflammatory articles? I know you need page views but how about keeping the Boston pride in the pants Joe? This is a regulation game against the Leafs and Canucks, one of whom is a Frenchie and premier agitator who grew up a Habs fan… he’s fiery in every appearance, Boston have absolutely nothing to do with this match-up.

What makes Burrows so exceptional is that he has the rare double: biting and hair pulling. Duncan Keith does have pretty hair…..can’t say I wouldn’t want to touch it…..but relax Alex.

This is a stupid article. What’s wrong with an athlete openly disliking another team? Stop trying to cause a controversy because you have nothing to write. The author also could have taken the extra minute to google Burrows and find out that he grew up a Montreal Canadiens fan and has disliked the Leafs ever since, but I guess doing some actual journalism work would have been too much.
