Polego calm down and listen for a sec
A) my name is sharksfan so everyone knows who I root for to cover all bias.
B) to answer your question the sharks have never won that many straight home games (obviously) or for that matter a Stanley cup (one step ahead of ya)
C) my favorite baseball team the Oakland a’s won 20 straight games both home and away, which you have to admit is slightly more impressive (for just 20 but obviously the wings have now won more and continue to, so it continues to make a better and better case with each w) than just home games
D) I admitted Detroits home win streak is impressive and I’m not hating on it but I don’t really think you can compare it to the dolphins streak in the early 70′s bc the dolphins won consecutive games (not your comparison but pht’s)
E) I think pavelis the best player in the game right now
F) the sharks are one of the few teams to win at the joe this year and in looking forward to Sunday and I know you are too bc it’s always a great game when our teams play each other

There’s a reason the NHL, NHL, NHL proclaims this an amazing feat. It’s only been done in the same season… NEVER before now.

You’re too good of a writer to actually think he ‘manages’ those types of plays.

Dats is truly that good. Once is a lifetime type player. I feel highly privileged to have watched two of them where the winged wheel… Howe and Dats…. and yes, its because I’m getting old.

That’s all I’m trying to say…. I’ll get off my soap box now and temper my exuberance and zeal… but only slightly.

First I’ll say this, yes, this streak is impressive. Hats off to the wings for owning at home.. This streak would be more impressive IF it was 22 straight games regardless of the location.. I will also concede that the wings are leading the west and will get home ice in the playoffs(for the west) and that could very well be a series changer. I think this streak should obviously be applauded but streaks that are consecutive home and away should go before this one
