JJ might be good if paired with a tough defensive minded D like Travis Hamonic. PA & a pick for JJ might work.

Yes — Jack is fast, talented, and stupid. His style of D works great when he’s the best skater on the ice, not so well in the NHL. He doesn’t read the play well, he gets caught often. Having TWO guys like this (the other is Doughty) is one too many for any successful NHL team. Jack would be great on a team that could score 3-4 goals a game and use him on the power play and in OT. Even strength, he’s a liability. Would love to see Kings get a scorer for him.

Johnson’s 8-16-24 make him 29th in points for NHL defensemen. His -10, however, has him 253rd in that category. He is a good offensive defenseman who is a liability in his own end. That’s who he is. Not Lombardi’s favorite player by any means.

Johnson is overrated, but he is a good offensive defenseman. Could see Isles offering PA Parenteau and his 51 points along with a pick or a prospect on condition of PA signing an extension as he is a UFA.
