That said, (a) 2nd and 3rd rounders are far from guarantees, (b) I think they still have a second-rounder this year from Florida, and (c) if they can sign Grossman to a reasonable contract at the end of the year it’ll be much more palatable.

It’s an overpayment, but not a horrendous one.
