I cant remember the amount of opposing players saying “i hate playing against moore”. Thats the kind if guy I want for a playoff run good score.moore will be missed.

Moore is a guy that brings his game up a gear in the playoffs, and his time in Tampa was no exception. This should be a very good pickup for a team that has had trouble closing the past few years. Grinders like Moore who rose to the occasion were the biggest reason the Lightning went as deep as they did last year.

Right, Moore is not an agitator, nor is he dirty. That thing with Fedotenko was way overblown, too, as Shanahan could see. Moore is a smart, skilled, aggressive player who shows up every game. Pierre McGuire pointed out once during a game how more players should use common sense the way Dominic Moore does. A replay showed that Moore could have easily driven a guy headfirst into the boards, possibly causing injury, but he backed off just enough, and still completed the check.

He’s been one of my favorite Lightning players, and I’ll hate to see him go.

I’d say Marleau and Thornton had issues in the past with being chokes that didn’t play with the necessary intensity needed in the Stanley Cup playoffs, but they’ve gotten over that.

I think the Sharks needed a little more scoring punch on the wing rather than a non-scoring bruiser.

He’s a lousy player and waste of a pick. The NHL of today lies in the draft and Doug Wilson trades all the picks every season. Marleau and Thornton are lazy chokes. Wilson has to go.
