Hitchcock, since he got to STL, has continuously called out players on the team for not “buying in”. As recently as yesterday, his quote was “some people have yet to jump in the pool” … it’s really too bad. Stewart couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn right now … and Patrik Berglund plays about 100% on about 25% of his shifts.

People have to buy in. You’re 4th in the standings … unreal

If the Isles continue to have trouble re-signing Parenteau, STL might consider trading Stewart for him.

He’s more physical than his brother, Anthony, so perhaps it’s by comparison. He can certainly hit and do those types of things, but doesn’t always avail himself of what would be a strength to his game.

as a hawks fan i really hate the blues, but they are very legit team this year and this article just cements that. i wish Q would be a little harder on our guys honestly

This is the best thing for him. With everyone getting healthy on the team he could very well play his way out of or into the lineup.

I really thought Stewart was a lot more physical than he is. there is no hitting or battling in his game. he actually plays a finese game. I think his “power forward” or toughness label is from the 2 or 3 fights he gets in a year.
