Habs fans will cheer anything from Andrew Ference’s middle finger getting cut off to Chara actually dying on the ice.

Dude that is the worst argument ever.
Boston fans are not always the best fans. They can be drunk and obnoxious.
But point to one time in their history they cheered someone facing what could be a serious injury. No fan cheers when they see blood or a scary looking incident.

it is one thing cheering a CLEAN hit, where someone goes down. It is something else when someone gets unlucky with a puck to the fan, gets run into the goal post by accident or taking a dirty hit.

I can’t believe Habs fans defend themselves on this. You guys are pathetic.

The only Bruin who respects Montreal is Tim Thomas (because he has a man-crush on Carey Price), who was quoted last night as saying that the Bell Centre has the most energy in the league… even more than TD.

Yes they cheer when the player gets up off the ice and is Okay.
They do not cheer when the player is on the Ice after getting hit by a puck and is hurt.

Habs fans cheered on a replay of Chara getting a puck to the face. That is ridiculous. Not Chara getting up off the ice.

Fans in every building in the league regularly cheer when a injured player from the visiting team is helped off the ice.

I’m not sure why Chara and the Bruins are so insecure and are in desperate need of acceptance from Montreal fans.

Well if you pause it at 21 and 22 seconds, it sure looks hip to hip to me. The only reason it looked like a clip is because Emelin, turned to his backside like a typical Habs trying to draw a call. No suspension. minor penatly was bad enough. It was almost as bad as the interference call on Boychuk late in the game. Just your normal Montreal refs and diving, nothing new to see here.

Give the Habs credit. They didn’t roll over. Erik Cole’s steal of a weak and errant Chara pass and subsequent single handed goal was text book.

Five more games on this road trip. Might just be what the Bruins need to get their game going again.

Has anyone noticed that Brad Marchand always has a guilty look on his face? Oh and that he’s the biggest hypocrite in the NHL? He’s saying the Habs fans are classless for cheering when Chara got hit with the puck and they should care about Chara getting hurt when in the same game he pulls his usual low bridge tactic. The league has got to deliver the message loud and clear by suspending him yet again and for longer than the last time. The guy is a dirty, no class, smart ass, disrespectful, little punk. He’s right up there with Carcillo. Get him and his kind out of the game, forever. They seem to never learn, so toss em.
