brent burns can actually skate, and skate well.

byfuglien was a defenseman and was converted to a forward…now he’s a full time d-man.

stu bickel sucks, and matt gilroy was played as a forward at times because he’s an awful defenseman.

i don’t know why this annoys me so much, but people who read prohockeytalk should know that roman hamrlik will never, EVER, play a shift as a forward in the NHL.

Stu Bickel for the Rangers this year for the past three games playing close to 5 mins.

Matt Gilroy last year and as govt said Big Buff.

It’s unlikely but not unheard of.

And certainly Hunter couldn’t be faulted for trying something to shake things up a little, though this wouldn’t be my first choice. Anything is possible- maybe we really will see Hamrlik up front at some point soon. Stranger things have happened in Washington this year.
