Perhaps they’re the ones who should be looking at a package (including their first round pick) to Columbus to bring in Nash? Big move for a small-market team, but that would nicely solve their scoring problem and give them a centerpiece to build around for years to come.

Unlikely, but… it’s not the worst idea.

Frankly, I love the guy. Tons of skill and not afraid to throw down. Apparently he’s a bit too big for his britches at times but millions of $$$ at 20 years old in a hockey mad city can do that. I hope he ends up as a 40+ goal scorer. I’m waiting for Mark Scheifele to make it up next year and see if those two guys can play together.

if he was/is playing hurt then its a testament to his toughness i guess. he is better than his numbers show and injury would be a good explanation. i like him and 19 goals isnt bad but he should be a 60-70 point guy imo. i think he has 1 pt in his last 4-5 games so they could/should expect more from him at this point in the season with the playoff situation

Ah. Mr. Kane was on fire for a while there but, as you so aptly put it, he did start sucking wind for a while. Rumor has it he may have been playing with the concussion for a bit before they finally sat him which would explain the drop off in production. However, the whole team aside from Wheeler, Thorburn and Byfuglien needs to step it up.

Good luck there Laddy boy. Chevy’s on a mission to stockpile as many 3rd and 4th liners as he can, and unfortunately I’m guessing there aren’t many big names who are looking to move to the coldest city in the world with a pop. above 600k (it’s true, look it up). Am I sounding bitter? Perhaps. Talent is going to have to be drafted with the Jets. That being said, GO JETS GO!

Fell to a new low? Why? Because they lost to the Islanders? The Isles have one of the best PKs in the NHL…have all year. And they have been playing better than a lot of teams recently. This also is the second time they have gone into WIN and won. Gee, I don’t know…maybe they are just a better team than WIN.

I don’t know if you watched last night’s game but Kane was all over the place and playing hard. The Jets put on the pressure for a while but couldn’t make anything stick. Nabby played pretty well too.
