Actually, you have no point. 15 of the 16 games the Bruins have been suspended have come in the last 2 years. That’s right, since Greg Campbell joined the team. Please don’t let logic and facts get in the way of your continued Collie Campbell references though, they add as much value to your posts as anything else you include.

You’ve just made my point exactly. The league, (until the past couple of months) has avoided suspending Bruins for repeated cheap shots. Especially last year. But I’m sure the fact that Colie Campbell has a son playing for the Bruins has nothing to do with it. Right?

Gitmo, you are a moron. The story on this site about trading Patrick Kane is for Ryan miller, not tim Thomas. Kane is 23 and Thomas is 37. Name a team that would make that trade? Nobody would, regardless that he just won the vezina.

6 goals in his last 39 games…not great numbers but you are forgetting he is more of a playmaker than a sniper. He would rank tied for 2nd on the bruins in scoring right now and this is his worst year. Based on this logic you would have to say ovechkin is no longer a superstar. Outside of Boston, I would bet that most hockey people would call that hit dirty. Especially with less than 2 seconds remaining in the period.

you’re totally right, Marchand, when approaching Emelin, had no other thought in his mind but that he was going to go low and demolish Emelin’s knee.
Marchand clearly is trying to stop before hitting Emelin and ends up hitting him a little low. And what does Emelin do, drops to the ice like his knee is blown out and that he will never play hockey again, to sell a call. — Typical Montreal.

You don’t see Peverley doing that.

I saw the Gill knee on Peverley. To try and compare it to Marchand’s deliberate attempt to injure with 2 seconds left in the period to (Gill is a guy who hasn’t been suspended to my knowledge in 14 years) is beyond stupid.

Why hasn’t habsman been banned yet? He has done almost all of the things that are supposed to get you banned. Everyone knows the B’s have become a product of their environment. They watched as the NHL did nothing while liberties where taken against Bergy and Savy. They now have a team that will get down and dirty with anybody who does these things, and they are the villains? Let’s remember history correctly all the crap that happened with Nucks was started by Burrows biting. As far as the Canadian Olympic diving team goes(The Habs), I am sick of the hypocrisy. We all know Punk Kid is an angel who never elbows anybody in the face or anything like that. Yeah right. Take a look in the mirror dude its not like the Habs are the model team.

I would like to see them move Caron to the Lucic Krecji line. I actually think that they should try and trade for either Jones from the Avs or Bassard from CBJ. Bassard may go for a second and a mid level prospect. Jones maybe a second and a fourth. They could always also trade Pouliot.

He’s also the only one in the Eastern conference, though. McPhee is unlikely to want to trade him to a team that he might see in the first round (assuming the Caps snap out of their season-long funk to get in). Not to say it wouldn’t happen, but it would be surprising to me.

I actually think Knuble makes the most sense out of those mentioned. Size, net front presence, good on PP, probably can get him for relatively cheap due to recent struggles.
