When Phil Kessel skates away from aforementioned ‘anonymous’ group of inferior players in order to find himself in the perfect scoring position for a goal (which he has done countless times this season), makes said inferior players believe he is easily intimidated, so be it. They will always have their belief, and Phil will continue to pile on the goals.

Funny what players will spew about others who make them look foolish out on the ice on a consistent basis.

Lastly, If one thing has been proven time and again; it is that Sports Illustrated (with the exception of a single sports editor – who shall remain nameless), knows zero, zilch, about the game of Hockey.

So, if these players are so easily intimidated then why aren’t the respondents to the poll shutting them down? Maybe they’re a bunch of backwoods pluggers who don’t have much talent and even less intelligence. I guess we’ll never know because the poll is anonymous. Shame on SI for this kind of yellow journalism. But what can you expect from a sports magazine that once a year shamelessly turns itself into a softcore porn rag.
