1. That’s not really the kind of flag-flying the writer was talking about.

2. I’m pretty sure Brough and Halford are both Canadian. I’m guessing they don’t write about the World Juniors because TSN pretty much covers anything that anyone would ever want to know about them, plus several hours more coverage.

Even writers at PHT let their nationalist pride fly. Case in point – their updates on American college hockey. Where’s the love for Canadian junior hockey or een world junior coverage. The Canadian juniors have players of all nationalities & produce substantially more pro hockey players then American College hockey. If you look before the last 10 years American college hockey rarely produced NHLers

Watching Kovy right now is pretty awesome. Anytime he has the puck you just get this feeling that something is gonna happen. Same feeling Bure used to give and Ovechkin gave until the last 2 years.

Funny thing is, Ovechkin fits the critics checklist far and away more than Kovy (9.5mil cap hit over the next 13 years, not looking too good these days..) but you never see any articles about that.
